From permit PDF to live navigation.

Read the permit

Upload a state-issued oversize or overweight permit PDF and get structured route data back: roads, directions, time windows and restrictions.

Route to the restrictions

Restrictions are applied on the map, so the route follows the permitted roads and avoids what the permit excludes.

Discuss permit routing

Drive it in Google Maps

Load the finished route into Google Maps and CarPlay so drivers get live turn-by-turn guidance along the permitted path.

Easily integrate into your current product.

Expand offering

Using your existing app, website or both, add oversize loads to your offering without building permit reading and routing yourself.

Drop-in API

Add permit reading, restriction routing and navigation hand-off to the product your customers already use.

Reviewable output

Extracted restrictions and the resulting route can be shown to dispatchers before a driver rolls.

Driver-ready

Routes load into Google Maps and CarPlay, so drivers use the navigation they already know.

From a permit PDF to a driveable route.

Four steps, all through one integration.

  1. Send the permit

Your platform submits the state-issued PDF to the API.

  2. Extract the restrictions

Permitted roads, directions, time windows and conditions are read from the document.

  3. Build the route

Using our patent pending routing algorithm, the restrictions are applied to the map to produce a compliant route.

  4. Navigate live

The route is loaded into Google Maps and CarPlay for turn-by-turn guidance.

Start an integration

Built around state permits.

We support permits from all 50 states. Our system uses AI to visually read the PDF into a standardized format, then processes the road data to build the route. Your app receives a standard format to present to your customers.

A few answers about how the API works with permits and navigation.

Have a specific question?

Tell us about your platform and the states you cover, and we can discuss the integration.

Go to the enquiry form
Which platforms do you support?

Any web-enabled platform: iOS, Android, or any web framework that can talk to a JSON-based API.

What does the API take as input?

A state-issued oversize or overweight permit PDF. It returns the extracted route restrictions and a route that follows them.

Does the route replace the permit?

No. The permit remains the legal document, and drivers and carriers are responsible for following it. The route is a navigation aid built from the permit’s restrictions.

Which restrictions does it handle?

Permitted roads and directions, time-of-day and day-of-week limits, and conditions that affect routing such as restricted structures. Supported items depend on the state and the permit format.

How does the route reach the driver?

The route is loaded into Google Maps, so it can be used for live guidance on a phone or through CarPlay.

Which states are supported?

All 50 states. Permit layouts differ by state, and the API reads each state’s format.

How do we integrate it?

It is an API for companies that already serve this market, such as permit services, dispatch tools and fleet software. Contact us and we will walk through the integration.
